Türkiye Visa for Pakistani Citizens: 2026 Fees, Documents and Routes

Pakistani citizens with an ordinary passport need a visa for Türkiye, and there are two ways to get one. If you hold a valid Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa or residence permit, you can apply online for a one-month, single-entry e-Visa at evisa.gov.tr. It is usually issued within minutes. Everyone else applies for a sticker visa in person at an Anatolia visa application centre. Official 2026 fees start at PKR 52,200 for a three-month single-entry visa. Allow about six weeks or more for a decision. Pakistani official passport holders don’t need a visa for stays of up to 90 days.

Which route applies to you?

One question decides it: do you hold a Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa or residence permit that will still be valid on the day you enter Türkiye?

The e-Visa portal’s rules on that supporting document are more generous than many applicants assume:

• It only has to be valid by date on the day you enter Türkiye. It doesn’t need months of validity left.
• Used and unused single-entry visas both count, as long as the validity dates cover your entry date. So a UK visit visa you’ve already used still works if it hasn’t expired.
• Other countries’ e-visas don’t count. A US or UK visa in your passport or a residence permit card qualifies. A Canadian or Australian visa doesn’t, and neither does any e-visa.

Unlike Egyptian applicants, Pakistanis aren’t restricted to particular airlines on the e-Visa route.

Route 1: the e-Visa (if you have a Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa)

1. Go to evisa.gov.tr, the only official site; its domain ends in .gov.tr. Choose Login / Register and create an account.
2. Select Pakistan as your country of travel document and Ordinary passport as the type. Enter your travel dates. The system shows the conditions that apply to Pakistani applicants.
3. Enter the details of your supporting visa or residence permit exactly as printed.
4. Pay with a Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay card. It must support 3-D Secure and be open for international payments. Some Pakistani bank cards need international online payments switched on in the banking app first. The card doesn’t have to be in your name.
5. Download the e-Visa from the final screen. The same link is emailed to you.

When you travel, carry the passport that contains the supporting visa, or your residence permit card, along with the printed e-Visa. The e-Visa is only valid for someone who met the condition, so the border officer may want to see proof.

Common reasons applicants end up paying twice:

• A spelling mismatch between the e-Visa and the passport. The e-Visa is then invalid, you have to apply again, and there’s no refund.
• Changed travel dates. An e-Visa can’t be amended, so you need a new one.
• Starting the payment late. After you verify your email, you have 24 hours to pay before the application times out.

Route 2: the sticker visa at Anatolia

The Turkish Embassy in Islamabad says visa applications in Pakistan are received only through Anatolia Travel Services offices. Anatolia has centres in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Hyderabad.

How payment works at the centre:

• Cash only, in Pakistani rupees. Count your change at the counter. Anatolia won’t accept claims once you’ve left.
• Non-refundable, even if the visa is refused.
• GST is added to the amounts above.
• Optional extras: a VIP application costs PKR 4,350 more. Applications processed after 6:00 pm cost an extra PKR 5,600.
• Anatolia tells applicants never to pay anything beyond the amount on the official computer-generated receipt.

Which centre you must use (since 11 March 2026)

You can’t choose any centre you like. Since 11 March 2026, Anatolia’s jurisdiction rules say your centre depends on where you work or run your business, or the address on your CNIC, not where you happen to live now.

Centres take submissions Monday to Friday, 09:00–15:00, and return passports from 09:00 to 17:00. The Islamabad centre breaks from 13:00 to 14:00. Standard tourist files don’t need an appointment during declared hours, but Anatolia says it may introduce appointments at busy times, so arriving early helps. Only the applicant may enter. Parents may accompany applicants under 18.

What happens at the centre

• You take a token and wait your turn.
• Your photo and all ten fingerprints are taken digitally. Remove glasses and coloured contact lenses. Anatolia warns that mehndi or henna on the fingertips can stop your fingerprints from scanning.
• Every applicant aged 18 or over fills in an interview form by hand.
• You sign an authorisation letter allowing Anatolia to verify your documents with the issuers, such as your bank, employer or chamber of commerce. Anatolia says documents found to be forged or altered are reported to the embassy.

Documents for a Türkiye tourist visa from Pakistan

This list summarises Anatolia’s 2026 tourism checklist. Not every item applies to everyone. You bring what matches your job and situation, but leaving out a required document can lead to refusal.

Everyone:

• Visa application form, filled in and printed at the centre, with two colour photos, 50 × 60 mm, on a white background.
• A passport valid for at least 180 days from your travel date (365 days for multiple entry), with at least two blank pages back to back. Bring copies of the bio page and used pages from current and old passports covering the last five years.
• A typed, one-page cover letter if you’re 18 or over. It should cover your purpose, dates, places you’ll visit, who’s paying, who you’re travelling with and any previous trips to Türkiye. Business owners should use company letterhead. For families, only the head of the family writes one.
• A NADRA Family Registration Certificate, or a Marriage Registration Certificate if you married within the last 90 days.
• Bank statements for the last 3 months, originals signed and stamped by the bank and no older than 30 days, plus a bank account maintenance certificate.
• Proof of income, such as FBR tax returns, NTN or an Active Taxpayer certificate.
• Travel health insurance with USD 60,000 of cover, including repatriation, for a fixed 3, 6 or 12 months. Only insurers approved by the embassy are accepted, and approved policies are sold at Anatolia centres.
• A hotel reservation and a return ticket reservation. Don’t pay for either before the visa is granted.

Depending on your situation:

• Employees: an original job letter on company letterhead, no older than 30 days, plus your last three salary slips.
• Government employees: a leave certificate or NOC.
• Business owners: proof of ownership, such as NTN, SECP certificate, Form 29 or a chamber membership certificate.
• Students: a bonafide letter, fee challan or student card copy.
• Sponsored travellers: a sponsor’s affidavit on stamp paper with their CNIC and proof of income. If the sponsor lives abroad, the letter must be attested.
• Children under 18: a parents’ declaration, or a notarised NOC from the parent who isn’t travelling.

Two eligibility rules catch people out. If your Türkiye visa was refused in the last six months, you can’t apply again until six months have passed. Afghan nationals applying in Pakistan need a valid Pakistani registration permit or card.

How long it takes, and when to apply

Anatolia accepts applications for travel up to 90 days after submission. The embassy recommends applying between 15 days and 3 months before travel, and at least a month ahead. Anatolia puts standard processing at around six weeks at least, in working days, and longer in peak season. Since 2025, applications have been subject to approval by the Ministry in Ankara, so there’s no fixed decision date and no fast-track service. Visa centres can’t chase or speed up a decision.

A realistic plan:

• About 8 to 10 weeks before travel: submit your file. That’s inside the 90-day window and leaves room for a slow decision.
• In the last few days before submission: get the documents with a 30-day limit, such as the job letter and bank statement, so they’re still valid on the day you hand them in.
• After you get the visa: book and pay for flights and hotels.

Multiple-entry visas: stricter since November 2025

Since 25 November 2025, you can apply for a 12-month multiple-entry visa only if you’ve entered Türkiye at least once before on a single-entry visa. You have to prove it with copies of the previous visa or e-Visa and your entry and exit stamps. If the earlier trip was on an e-Visa, bring a copy of the Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa it was based on too. Other conditions:

• A one-year travel health insurance policy with USD 60,000 of cover.
• A passport valid for a year from travel. If it isn’t, the visa is shortened to match.
• The stay limit is still 90 days in any 180.
• If one family member qualifies and the family applies together, the others may apply for multiple entry too.

Work, study and transit visas

The tourist route above doesn’t cover work or study.

• Work and study visas: since 3 September 2026, work and study applicants at the Islamabad and Peshawar centres must fill in the online form and email their PNR code to book a future appointment. Anatolia says work visa submissions there will resume at a new dedicated centre.
• Umrah transit visas are temporarily suspended.

Frequently asked questions

Can Pakistanis get a Türkiye visa on arrival?

No. Pakistan is on the e-Visa portal’s list of countries whose citizens can’t get a visa on arrival. You need an e-Visa or a sticker visa before you fly.

I have a UK visit visa that I’ve already used. Can I still get the e-Visa?

Yes, as long as the visa is still within its validity dates on the day you enter Türkiye. Used single-entry visas are accepted.

What is the Türkiye visa fee in Pakistan in 2026?

At Anatolia, a single-entry visa costs PKR 52,200 for 3 months, PKR 58,000 for 6 months or PKR 63,800 for 12 months. A 12-month multiple-entry visa costs PKR 98,600. GST is added, and you pay in cash. The e-Visa fee is shown on evisa.gov.tr before you pay.

Can I get my Türkiye visa faster?

No. Neither the embassy nor Anatolia offers expedited processing. The VIP service is a more comfortable way to submit your application. It doesn’t speed up the decision.
